    Led music information retrieval (MIR) research and developed several state-of-the-art MIR models, including singing skill evaluation, singing transcription, beat detection, and music recommendation.
    • Creator of the Huawei Intelligent feature ‘Xiaoyi Band’, which automatically arranges accompaniment for the input singing melody.

    Developed a chord embedding model using self-supervised learning, achieving 0.661 MAP on cover-song identification, an impressive performance given its zero-shot nature. Developed a beatmap generation system, which outputs game-ready beatmaps based on MIDI or lyrical inputs.
